Balancing Acts

A working single mom attending law school

I had my last contracts class today. It’s so funny to just generally contemplate the material I learned this year. On it’s face, it all makes sense and seems almost like common sense. But to actually apply all the concepts taught to a unique fact pattern and apply critical analysis in the methods taught is a whole different beast. OK, missy, you should be able to do this…. But I’m sure every student feels that way. I am a little worried about the entire month that will pass before I actually take this exam. Will I forget it all? Or is that month actually helpful to me in that it lets the information settle?  Contracts class has become a regular part of my life and I was a bit sad to see it come to an end. The time just went so fast. So…tonight I will be finishing up my property outline. Later tonight I need to come up with a time management plan for the weekend, but suffice it to say that the weekend is devoted to studying. I will be going out for dinner Saturday night with my honey, and on Sunday, I will cook dinner for the two of us. But that is it. I won’t write again until Monday. I hope all my readers have a great holiday and enjoy some nice weather.
